By creating an account or using Moonthread (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Moonthread generates personalized AI bedtime stories with illustrations and optional narration. Stories are generated using third-party AI models and may include creative interpretations of inputs you provide.
You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old, or use the Service under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian. Moonthread is intended to be used by parents and guardians for children.
New accounts receive 3 free stories. Additional stories are available via one-time purchases or subscriptions:
Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel at any time from your billing settings; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are in US dollars and exclude any applicable taxes. One-time purchases and unused subscription periods are generally non-refundable, except where required by law. Contact us if you believe a charge was made in error.
You agree not to use the Service to generate content that is unlawful, harmful, hateful, sexually explicit, or that depicts real persons without consent. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
You retain rights to the inputs you provide (e.g., your child's name, archetype choices). Subject to your compliance with these Terms, you receive a personal, non-exclusive license to use the stories and illustrations generated for you, including for personal, non-commercial sharing within your family.
The Service itself, including software, brand, and templates, is owned by Moonthread and protected by intellectual property laws.
Stories and illustrations are generated by AI and may occasionally be inaccurate, unexpected, or repeat themes. You are responsible for reviewing content before sharing it with your child. Moonthread is for entertainment and is not a substitute for professional advice (medical, psychological, educational, etc.).
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Moonthread will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You can stop using the Service at any time and delete your account from settings. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or via email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at the location of Moonthread's operator. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer-protection laws provide otherwise.
